Quick description
The OPC Web Client Web Service can be used from any Web Service consumer to read/write Tags to/from your OPC Server(s).
OPC Web Client Web Service licenses are sold individually, meaning that you can only install one instance of the OPC Web Client Web Service with one license. However, there are no
restrictions on the number of consumers the web-service will allow or the number of OPC Servers it will communicate with.

What the OPCData.NET Component consists of:
- OPC Web Client Web Service
- Greenhouse OPC Server
These licenses do not include the component toolkits such as the .NET component or ActiveX controls.

Which license should I purchase?
The quick answer to this is to ask yourself if you will (now or later) create an application that will be used on more than one computer. If so, then you should purchase a Runtime-free license.
What if I lose my license because my hard-drive crashes?
In this case, if you have a backup of the email containing your license, then you can simply re-install the OPC Web Client onto a new computer/hard-drive and license it yourself. Otherwise you will need to contact us for a copy of your license.
